I started out as an actor hosting a kids’ show on CBC. To promote the show, we’d visit schools, they'd pack 500 students into the gym and hand me the microphone. I’ll never forget standing there for the first time, staring at a sea of kids, thinking: How on earth am I going to hold their attention?
The answer was simple: I told stories.
I ended up speaking at over 1,000 schools, transitioned into corporate keynotes, and to scratch my creative itch, started writing screenplays. But no matter what medium I’m working in, I’m always asking that same fundamental question: Will this story hold their attention?
Storytelling is a skill. In this 60-minute workshop, I’ll give you simple, practical frameworks so you can tell better stories in every area of life.
