STUDENT LEADERSHIP
STUDENT LEADERSHIP: COURAGE AND EMPATHY
Every student has the potential to be a leader. So what makes some students rise to the occasion while other students shrink back? According to youth speaker Anthony McLean, there are two key factors: courage and empathy. Courage is standing for the right thing -- even when you’re the only one standing. And empathy is caring about what other people are experiencing at school. When students are empowered to walk in courage and empathy, the school climate begins to change. In this upbeat and inspiring presentation, Anthony motivates students to tap into their leadership potential to make a positive impact in their school community.
